ABOUT THE PLAY

Manning Is Free is about a person who insists on speaking the truth no matter the price. It tells the story of the trans woman, Chelsea Manning, and how she became who she is today; the secrets, struggle and rebirth of the whistleblower who leaked a record number of classified documents about American military and diplomacy.  It is a story about realizing your true self and changing the world in the process.
