ABOUT THE PLAY
Our Places on Earth is based on interviews with women who migrated from the former-Yugoslavian countries to Sweden, from the 1960’s to today. Authentic stories are being shared about the former Yugoslavian experience in Sweden, and the different reasons for migrating, whether for work-related opportunities or to seek refuge from oppression and war. The reading is a work-in-progress with stories from two women, and the final play hopes to include more, shorter stories, interlinked with one another.
